With proper customization, you will be able to get the a nice-looking post snippet for your home page and archive page. While you customize, you will also see live changes side by side.
Before we begin first Go to Appearance > Customize > Post Snippet
Post Snippet Options
- You can Show/Hide the Featured Image of all the post snippets.
- You can Show/Hide the Date of all the post snippets.
- You can Show/Hide the Author Name of all the post snippets.
- You can Show/Hide the Comment Number of all the post snippets.
- You can Show/Hide the Categories Name of all the post snippets.
- You can Show/Hide the Tags of all the post snippets.
Post-Thumbnail Options:
- Pick the size of the thumbnail you wish to display from here. This will help in better performance of the site speed.
Excerpt Size:
- You can limit how long you wish to display the excerpt in the Post Snippet.
Read More Text:
- You will also get an option to change the “Read More” text from the post snippet. You can add your own desired text.
